JFBConnect 4.2.1 Comments is turned off and somehow this code is showing on the Ohanah Event List Page. I know that Ohanah does some injection of modules to get the layout which could be leading to this problem. Since Ohanah is a Menu item and not a Category.

The Facebook comments form is enabled via the Ohanah system.

How do I get rid of this strip of code that is trying to make a call that is not getting processed?

See the page that the problem is on....

Jon,
Hmmm. I know Ohanah has some JFBConnect integration built-in (which is really neat). There's a few things you can try to make it work better.. or (likely) disable it altogether:
1) Try re-arranging the JFBCSystem plugin to make it the highest (last) plugin in the system group. Clear Joomla cache, and try again. You can also try first in the group, but I don't think that will help.
2) In the Social configuration -> Open Graph tab of JFBConnect, disable the "Use beginning text in article for default" setting. Clear cache and try again.
3) In the Social configuration -> Open Graph tab of JFBConnect, set the "Enabled" option to "No". This should disable Open Graph integration altogether. However, depending on what Ohanah does, that still may not work..

If none of the above help, let us know, and we'll do what we can to fix you up.

Thanks
Ale

Please try enabling Open Graph as above, and in the Misc tab, remove the "Social Tag Admin Key", if set, so that it's blank.

Let us know how that goes :)

Jon,
Thanks for sending the information by Private Message. The issue is how the JFBCGraph tag is being added to the page. If you open up the source HTML on any page with the problem, you'll see the tag looks like the following:
{JFBCGraph description=Presale Tickets: February 10, 2012
Public Ticket Sales: February 20, 2012
Boston Presale: Website
Ticket Outlet: Wild Adventures Theme Park}
JFBConnect doesn't parse out multi-line tags. If you edit the event, and put all the text on one line, you'll see the tag disappears. I understand that's not what you're looking for.. but just wanted to point out that works.

I'd recommend contacting Ohanah and let them know to strip out any newline characters from the Open Graph tags before they insert them onto the page. That should fix your problem.

Sorry I don't have a better answer or solution right now, but hopefully, you can get a quick response from them.

Let us know how that goes,
Alex
