Hi

Thank you for your great work on this.
I updated all relevent JFBC files, but have found my SCLogin username, password and facebook button are missing when I am not logged in.
It also shows no username, but a logout button (please see 'cannot see login fields.png').
I've searched and read 7 pages of possible forum matches but I am unable to find where I have made a mistake, and I would like to ask for your advice.
I am on joomla 2.5, JFBConnect 4.2.0 , SCLogin 1.1.0, have cleared cache, restarted PC and browser.

What have I done wrong?

regards
Gregory

Gregory,
There's a few possibilities I can think of to test out..
1) Simply go into the module manager, edit the module and hit "Apply". That may re-save the parameters, which may have just gotten whacky with the upgrade.
2) Check if there's a template override in the /templates/<YOUR_TEMPLATE>/html/mod_sclogin directory. Specifically, if that directory exists, look for a login.php or logout.php file in that directory. If there, temporarily rename them to something else and see if that helps.
3) Try a different template (temporarily) altogether, to eliminate wierdness that templates can do sometimes.

Let us know if any of those have an effect,
Alex

Hi Alex

Thank you for your help.
Unfortunately none of those worked out.
1) I did this many times but no change.
2) the directory does not exist.
3) there was nothing shown on the screens at all.. the sclogin area itself is not showing up anywhere.. (please see 'template 1/2.png').

I'm stuck ..

Hi Alex

Please close this issue.
I asked one of my project team to have a look and they fixed it, but they haven't told me what they did. When I find out, I will post it here for you and others.
Thank you for your very fast replay and assistance before.

Regards
Gregory

Gregory,
Thanks for the update. We were a bit stumped as to the possible causes, so really weren't sure where to go next. Glad it wasn't something with JFBConnect!

Should you need anything else, or, if you get info from your team that you think would be valuable to us, please let us know.

Finally, please consider leaving a rating and review on the Joomla Extension Directory for JFBConnect, or our support. It's certainly not required, but very appreciated!

Thanks, and good luck,
Alex
