Hi everybody,

yesterday I bought this component and I really like it. All Connections are working, good stuff.

But now I am having trouble with the "placement" of the Button. I don´t want to use the Login-Module, because I got a very nice Login-Plugin in my template. It´s JA Community plus, you can see the login-box on my homepage www.nlp-deutschland.de in the upper right corner.

The best I would like to see is the facebook-button in it´s smallest form just as a third point between "Login" and "Create Account". This way, users directly see the facebook-button but they can also choose the normal registration.
If it´s not possible "between the options", it would also be okay for me to have it "inside the registrations-tab", that opens when you click on it.

Unfortunatelly I don´t find a way how to. The plugin comes with a default-php, where all the stuff "is in". But whatever I change on the default.php of the plugin, nothing happens. I even deleted it (renamed it), but it still shows up.

Any idea if default.php maybe is not the correct place to change the content of a plugin?

All the best, Julian!

Julian,
Unfortunately, I don't know the exact answer to how that template or the plugins that come with it work. My guess is that the Login/Register area is a module that they have and you should be able to edit it's template to add the Login With Facebook button how you see fit. I can see doing this by adding it in between the buttons, like you suggest, or by adding it individually to the Login and Register drop-downs that appear when you click them.

Looking at your template, it seems like "JA Quickaccess" is something you'd want to look for. Likely, it's a module, not a plugin, that's showing there and it's in the "quickaccess" module position, from what I can tell.

Once you find it, try editing the template (likely default.php) for that module. Then, you can add the {JFBCLogin size=medium} tag (or size=small) and see how that works out. If you find the right file to add it too, we can gladly help you further if you run into issues. You may need to contact JoomlaArt to learn more about their template, and how to modify it though.. that's outside our area of expertise.

Hope that helps,
Alex
