The Send key was created by andbli
In my JBFConnect 4.1.2 run by Joomla 2.5.4 the Send key sends title of an article and site logo. Can I set it in such a way that it sends part of the article and a picture associated to it?

Andrzej,
The Send button should be using the Open Graph tags that are set on the destination page of the Send button. We've seen that this isn't always done properly by Facebook, but if you haven't already, please make sure you've enabled Open Graph on your site (in the JFBConnect Social area) and set tags on your pages. If you need more information on how to do that, let us know.

Once set, you can use the tool below to check what Facebook sees as the Open Graph tags for the page:
developers.facebook.com/tools/debug
The information shown there -should- be used in the Send button, but like I said, Facebook sometimes ignores that data.. and we don't know why.

Hope that helps,
Alex

Alex,
I have enabled all the three options on the "Open graph" panel, but my site still sends the general information about the site rather than an info about the article. Should I put anything into the Defaults field? What did you mean when saying that I should "set tags" on my pages. I am not setting individual tags but have declared that the Like and the Send buttons are on all pages.

Andrzej,
In your article contents, you can add the following tags which can help instruct Facebook what information to use:
{JFBCGraph title=Title for the Article}
{JFBCGraph description=Description for the article}
{JFBCGraph image=http://site.com/link-to-image.jpg}
JFBConnect will automatically use the meta title and description (if set) and you don't use the tags above. Similarly, if you have the "Use first image from article" in the Open Graph area set, we'll try to find the first image in the article.

So, we'd recommend using the tags above -if- the URL debug tool we mentioned above isn't pulling the right information from your page. If it is pulling the right information, then that means Facebook is simply ignoring it.. and there's not much we can do about that.

Hope that info helps,
Alex
