Content Plug-in Suddenly stopped working

Hi,
I installed the JFBC bundle yesterday and it seemed to be working ok. I successfully got the facebook login working, and also used the social tab in the component menu to add like buttons to the top of every article in the article view.
This morning I went to the site and it is as if the content plug in is not working. I've tried all sorts of settings in the social tab of the component menu but to no avail. And I can't get the {JFBCLike} tag to work today and it did yesterday.
Perhaps I have inadvertently switched something off??

Quick update: the G+/linked in buttons seem to work so its definitely linked to facebook. Not even the facebook login shows up
