My first post here. I purchased JFBConnect about a week back, and am in the process of setting it up in my site. Solved many of the issues I faced by searching this forum and finding the answers here. Congrats for making a wonderful extension and for providing prompt responses to queries posted here. Here is an issue I would like to get solved.

My site uses Easyblog, and I would like to add {JFBCGraph image=http://mysite.com/myimages.jpg} tag to the body of each article I have posted so far. However, when I update the articles, my facebook app posts the article's link to news feed of all users who have used the app. Actually, I have already posted most of these links to our FB page manually in the past, and don't want to bother my users with a flurry of newsfeed links when I add the image tag to all my articles. I tried deleting my app id and secret from JFBConnect and easyblog in an attempt to prevent this, but it did not help. Is there any trick I can use to temporarily prevent my app from posting to Facebook about these trivial updates?

Shahul,
JFBConnect doesn't have any features that will post articles to your Facebook Wall, your Page, or any of your member's walls. That honestly is a feature that we're looking to add later this year, but right now, it's simply not there. Can you verify if you have some other extension installed which may be performing the post to wall? I genuinely don't think it's JFBConnect though :)

Hope that helps. Very glad to hear you're happy with your subscription!

Thanks for the clarification. Now I will chase the next suspect, Easyblog. Will let you know once this problem is solved.

Solved the issue.

In Components - EasyBlog - Social integrations - Facebook, there is a query "Send on updates". I just had to select No there.

Shahul,
Fantastic! Glad to hear you found the issue, and even more glad that it wasn't with JFBConnect!

Should you need anything else, just let us know,
