Hi,
I know we may have only one JFBConnect on site and one FB Application. But is there a way to bind every application "instance" (on FB sites) to different content (URL) on website?
Regards,
PR

Not sure exactly what you mean, actually. Can you explain a little more what you're trying to achieve, and I'll answer the best I can. It sounds like you want many applications to work for one site. It is possible to do that, but not sure why you'd want to. JFBConnect doesn't support it though, but depending on your needs, we may be able to help you use JFBConnect how you want or even make some changes to JFBC if possible.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi, Sorry for my broken English. We have one Joomla Website and also have about 5 FB sites that represents main product categories of our Webschop. With J1.5 we used JoomFB and because the "Social Fusion" is only beta I subscribed your component. May I have (nearly) JoomFB functionality with your component (different content per FB site)? BR PR

Hello,
JFBC currently supports one FB Page, which in most (if not all) cases is enough.
what you can do, is simply use the various JFBC module/plugins to show streams, comments, fans from your pages, regardless of what is set in the general settings.

Either way, we will try and see if there are any interesting feature we can incorporate for future releases.

+1 I would love to see support for multiple tab pages, this would greatly expand the capabilities of JFBC for me. :)

Yeah, we agree, it would be nice. I can definitely see the ability to have more than one FB Page Tab controlled through JFBConnect later this year. The unfortunate part about it is that each Page Tab has to have it's own FB Application... which means a new API/Secret key for each one. We had drafted out a way to easily manage all this back in December, but have even better plans now. The 4.2 release will allow you to check and set your FB application settings through JFBConnect, and that will help later on if we need to juggle multiple applications.

So, in short, it's coming.. but it won't be for a few more months. We'd love this feature to be the main 'promo feature' for the 4.3 release, which would be out in the summer. Things with Facebook always change though, so some other shiny new object (like enhanced Open Graph) might push this out till the 4.4 release.

Thanks for the feedback!
Alex
