Hi,

I reinstalled JFBConnect completely from newest 4.1.2 J1.7 packages.

After installation, I see in Overview/JFBConnect Extension Check, that SCLogin is still in old version 1.0.2, although 1.0.3 is available.

So this extension was missing from 4.1.2 install files.

Where can I find this SCLogin 1.0.3 J1.7 package?

Regards,

Eki,
The SCLogin module was updated for some changes that were necessary for a new release of JLinked. The v1.0.3 doesn't have any changes necessary for JFBConnect, so you we didn't rebuild that package. We understand it's confusing, and a little annoying, and will be improving our 'shared' releases in the future to prevent this problem from happening again.

In the meantime, if you really can't stand the out of date check, the SCLogin is built to use the Joomla updater system. If you go to "Extensions -> Extension Manager" and click "Update", you can actually fetch the v1.0.3 package from our server and install automatically. We're looking to use this system more in the future to push out updates and make integration even easier.

Hope that explains, and sorry again for the confusion.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex!

Thanks for this info! Good to hear, that it was not a real problem - but I updated according to your hints and got rid of version warning.

I'm more concerned of the recommendations module being rather fixed and static on our site, and also containing invalid links. Wonder why FB does such crap. Any ideas, why? Our website is www.reservilainen.fi.
