Issue with OG tags was created by critski

I have an issue with some OG tags. When I set a description tag it never seems to display. I check the code with the facebook Linter and it shows the appropriate description in the linter but when I hit the LIKE button on the site it comes up on my facebook with out the description. Title and image seem to be fine.

The tag I used was : {JFBCGraph description=The AABAT Annual Forum is a good opportunity to interact with a people who are passionate about adventure based therapy. So if your interested this is defnitely worth a look!}

from it we can clearly see that the TAG is being converted into:

as is should.

and looking at the FB Debug tool we can see it successfully reads the og:description tag:

could you please verify that?

as for hitting LIKE, this could simply be the FB's internal cache.
once a LIKE was firstly hit, it will store the page's descriptions regardless of changes you make after that. this cache is stored for about a week or so...
FB's recommendation on this case is to check the linter tool prior to allowing the public to actually hit the LIKE on newly created pages, this way, you can see how FB will see your page, before it is wrongly stored in its caching mechanism.

Yes I can get it to work in the linter but this is what appears.

I am not sure its a cache issue as the description is there on the first LIKE.

Again, if the Debug Tool show everything is OK, then it might be an internal FB cache, that has already stored a previous version of that page's details.

try creating a new page, and test it first in the debug tool, and only then click LIKE.
