Oliver,
When your subscription expires, your access to the download area expires as well. That's made very clear when you initially subscribed. Also, there are automated emails that are sent one week, and the day of your expiration to let you know how long you have until your expiration. Additionally, if you re-subscribe while your subscription is still active, you get 10% off the new subscription price automatically.

Unfortunately, there's no way for us to get you the Joomla 1.7 version of JFBConnect. Since your subscription expired, we released version 4.1, with over 60 improvements and new features, and we are recommending all users to upgrade. The version you would have been able to download would have been 4.0.3, which is no longer available at all. The new version also has some enhancements for the upcoming Joomla 2.5 version, coming out this month, that aren't available in JFBConnect v4.0.

If you'd like to read more about v4.1 and it's new features, the following links should help:

Thanks,
Alex

Gorgo,
JFBConnect v4.1 is the only release available in our download area now. The version that was available when your subscription expired, on December 28th, is no longer available in any way through this site. We can't just flip a switch to give you access to an old version. It's no longer available, and we are recommend all users to upgrade to the newest v4.1 release which has fixes for some changes in Facebook for 2012 as well as improved support for Joomla 2.5 (the replacement for Joomla 1.7) coming out later this month.

Looking through all of your previous support requests, you've been posting in the Joomla 1.6-1.7 support area each time. There is no difference in JFBConnect for version 1.6 or 1.7, so if you already have the version for 1.6, that is also the version available for 1.7. Can you tell me what version of Joomla you upgraded from? If it was Joomla 1.6, JFBConnect should behave the same as it did before. We only have separate installation packages for Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 1.6/1.7.

Hope that helps. Hopefully you have the older version of JFBConnect (v4.0.x) for Joomla 1.7 already and just don't realize it.

Thanks,
Alex

The files in 4.0 were named with just j1.6 in the filename, but they work with both Joomla 1.6 and Joomla 1.7. There has never been a 1.7-specific version.

Sounds like this was all just a miscommunication. If you were on Joomla 1.6 before, everything should work just fine with 1.7.

Good luck,
Alex
