I have tried using JFBC login module to help users bypass the joomla login for EasyBlog. One issue I find is the popup position of JFBC login module is off to the right of the browser window when I place the module in the right column of my template. How can I position the login popup so it is centered in the browser window?

The popup should always come up in the center of your screen. That's not something that's controlled by JFBConnect, or even set by Facebook to our knowledge. Does this happen in all browsers? I know with Firefox, there are add-ons that can control the location of the popup so that it appears where you clicked (instead of the center of the window). Do you have anything like that installed?

If you can tell me the URL of the page you have the Login With Facebook button enabled on, that may help us test and see what's happening.

Thanks,
Alex

sorry for not responding sooner. I forgot I asked this question 2 weeks ago.

here's the site:
goo.gl/YVR3i

Yes I am using FireFox, but I tested this with IE9. same issue. I think I have tracked the issue to the browser width. Using an HD screen with a browser at 100% width the popup moves all the way to the right. Should I reduce the width of the browser it pops up in the center of the screen.

No problem for the delay.. everyone gets busy :)

I just tried that site, clicking into the "Submit a Testimony" link on the home and clicking the Login With FB button. I tried in Chrome, FF, and IE9. The popup was never off-center like you showed.

Can you try from another computer and see if you have the same issue? Preferably, one that may not have been configured by you with the same browser settings or other types of software. I simply don't know what would be causing that, and it's not something that JFBConnect really has control over. My best (only) guess is that it's a configuration setting for popups, but I really don't know.

Let us know how it goes on other browsers. Additionally, do you see that problem on this site?

Thanks,
Alex

ok I tested this on another brand new computer with an HD screen using firefox 10 and it's the same issue.

it's not a big deal though. I'm thinking of wiping that site out and starting over. I haven't even scratched the surface of your component anyhow, so now would be a good chance to expand its functionality on that site.

Hello,
I can confirm you issue with FF10.
my guess: it's a template related issue, which is cause by the way the template's width is set (or actually not set).
just for testing purposes, could you please try with a different template (maybe one of the template that come with Joomla, i.e beez)?
