Dear JFBConnect developers,

I am glad I bought your product. It is very simple to setup and get it running.
On the other hand I have some problems with your component:
1. Neither Like button nor Like box are working at all. You can check it out on www.automatika.rs in the top right corner. When someone click on like nothing happens, when there is FB page like box there is error displayed.
2. In article view I can not display other social buttons like: google plus or twitter. Only fb like button is displayed.
You can see it here: www.automatika.rs/ vs www.automatika.rs/vesti/obrada-signala/n...e-i7-procesorom.html

Please let me know asap if these problems are solvable, if not I will need to return your product.
Thank you.

Vojkan,
For displaying the other Social buttons in an article view, my best guess is that you don't have the "Show Twitter/GooglePlus Buttons:" setting enabled in the Social configuration area of JFBConnect. There is a different "Show Twitter/GooglePlus Buttons:" setting for article and blog views. Make sure that's setup correctly for both views.

As for the FB Page Like button, I'm not seeing that anywhere on your page to test with. It looks like you're using multiple other Facebook extensions though, which could definitely be causing a conflict. Please try disabling the others, re-enabling JFBConnect, and testing again. If it doesn't work, we'll gladly look into it further.

Thanks,
Alex

Dear Alex,

Thank you very much for promt response.
1. I found the settings for displaying all buttons in article mode.
2. There is still this problem with top right like button which points out to corresponding fan page at facebook (www.facebook.com/automatika.rs). Also I have the same problem with fan box on the right column.
3. There is one more problem I am experiencing: I do not know how to set up Open Graph properties manually. Now, for example, all og: type tags have value website, but it should be only at first page(ww.automatika.rs) all other should be article for content. How to set this up?

Thank you a lot for your help!

1) Glad you found the setting for that and the extra social buttons are working.

2) I'm not sure what's going on with the Like button pointing at your Facebook Page. This looks to be a Facebook issue, actually. It may be a configuration setting within your Page, or somewhere else, but we've never seen that before. I just put your Facebook Page URL into the test area below, and saw the same results:
developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like/
We use the same code that Facebook recommends there, so it doesn't look to be a JFBConnect issue at all. If there's nothing you can find in your Page settings that might be the problem (mainly restrictions on users or locales, or that the Page isn't in admin/sandbox mode), you may just have to contact Facebook and point to the link above with your Page URL so they can investigate further.

3) You can manually set the Open Graph tags on a per page basis with the following tag:
{JFBCGraph type=article} or {JFBCGraph title=Title for the page}, etc
In the current version of JFBConnect, we are setting the type for every page to website, which isn't right. In the 4.1 release (due out in a few weeks), we'll be properly setting it only for the menu item marked as the home page. The rest of the pages will be defaulted to article (I think, don't remember off hand what the default will be). To fix (temporarily), we'd recommend adding the following tag to the Defaults box in the Open Graph configuration area:
type=article
And then, on your home page article, simply enter {JFBCGraph type=website} somewhere in the text.

Hope that all helps,
Alex
