Hello,

I have two sites; www.landcontractgr.com and www.marketingfunnelpro.com. I created a facebook page tab for LandContractGR and it works perfectly: www.facebook.com/LandContractGR then I created the same page at www.facebook.com/marketingfunnelpro but I was having a problem with sizing.

I was forcing the template via the Template Manager. When I removed that I realized that JFBConnect Page Tab settings is not auto resizing and is not using the template that I select via the component. Any ideas on a solution for this? I've going to try an reinstall the component incase something was missing on install.

Oh just an FYI I'm using the following:

Joomla 1.7.1
JFBConnect 4.0.3

Reinstall didn't help :/

I had a previous version of JFBConnect on LandContractGR.com but on Marketing Funnel Pro it's a brand new install so maybe the new component is missing some files?!

I made sure all the settings in both of my Facebook Apps are the same.

Carl,
Not sure offhand. In the Page Tab config area of JFBConnect, we do have the ability to enable automatic resizing, which may help, but it looks like your template is just too wide.

I think you'll want to use a different template that doesn't show the menu at the top (causing the page to be so wide), and JFBConnect will do it's best to force the width to the proper width for the page area available in Facebook.

Hope that helps give you some ideas, but if you're still running into issues, definitely let us know!

I know that template is too wide. The component isn't working because I have a different template selected.

I have everything copied from the LandContractGR site which works perfectly. The component on Marketing Funnel Pro isn't automatic resizing and changing the template like it does with LandContractGR

Ahh. Sorry, I guess I misunderstood.

Make sure that the JFBCSystem plugin is enabled. That's where all the canvas magic happens. If that's already enabled, try making it the first or even the last plugin in the ordering of System plugins. It's possible another plugin is changing our behavior.

Not really sure otherwise what might be the cause though, but let us know if the above doesn't get you going, and we'll gladly look into it further.

Thanks,
Alex

All the plug-ins were turned off. I turned them all on and made them number 1 in the ordering. Still faced with the same problem. :/

Disregard. I was going the direct link, when I went to Facebook after activating the plug-ins it works perfectly! Thank you so much for your speedy response. Sincerely, Carl

Carl,
No problem for the help, and glad we got you fixed up. Support is a huge deal to us, as it should be.

If you haven't already, please consider leaving a rating and review on the Joomla Extension Directory for JFBConnect and/or our support. It's certainly not required, but very appreciated!

Thanks, and good luck with your site(s),

Already did my friend. 5 Star Rating, "I remember looking at this component & modules several months ago; I didn't buy. I figured for the price why bother just so my end-users can login via Facebook.

Last week I purchased this component and the support is amazing! I couldn't figure out how to get the login button to work correct in a pop-up window. Made a post and within a couple hours I had my answer and was up and running!

The price may seem silly at first but it's a small cost for the ease of logging in via Facebook. One less password for your users to memorize! So go ahead and get this, there are plenty of Facebook components out there this will certainly be my last! You've made a satisfied customer."
