I noticed tonite on my friends Macbook Air running MAC OS Leopard when he visits the site that I built specifically for him .. that he is unable to login with JFBConnect.
I came home and tried it on my Macbook Pro running MAC OS X Lion .. and effectively I am having the EXACT same problem.
Clicking on the "Login with Facebook" button and nothing happens. When I use Firefox on my Macbook Pro, it works. I used it on my Lenovo Windows 7 laptop and it works ... there seems to be some incompatibility with the login with facebook feature and Safari on a mac.

Can you let us know the page it happens on so that we can test it out on Mac? We do a lot of testing (and most of our development in Mac), and haven't heard of this issue, so we'd need to know a bit more.

Also, can you test on this site with Safari and see if you have the same issue? That will really help narrow things down.

Thanks,
Alex

On any page, as long as you are not logged in.

My friend's Mac running Leopard has the problem.
My Mac running iOS Lion has the problem.

David,
When you say "any page", do you mean on SourceCoast.com too.. or just on your site?

As for us, testing with Lion and Safari v5.1 (7534.48.3), we're not seeing the issue on SourceCoast or a few other sites that we test with. Can you post the page(s) you're seeing the issue on so we can test there as well?

Thanks,
Alex

David,
It's the Like-Box you're using in the right-hand side bar. It's re-including the Facebook Javascript API file (all.js) and the div tag (fb-root) that Facebook requires on the page. When it's on there twice, it can cause weird issues in many different ways.

Can you disable that and test again? Then, we'd recommend you either replace it with the JFBCFan module, or contact their developer to see if there's an easy way to prevent the re-inclusion of the Facebook Javascript stuff.

Hope that helps, and good luck,
Alex
