Invite works, but I can't find cause of 'Thank You' problem. Here's the error message I get. (Permissions on my thankyou message are 755.):

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /thankyou on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache mod_fcgid/2.3.6 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at www.grizzledgamer.com Port 80

Help please. :)

Griz,
The Thank You page is something you create. Does site.com/thankyou work on your site? If not, you'll want to set that URL to be a full URL that does work. Generally, this is a link to a Joomla article that you use to "thank" the user for inviting friends, and should look like site.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=12 (non-SEF) or possibly site.com/thankyou (SEF with a menu item created for it).

In short, JFBConnect doesn't have a built-in Thank you page, you'll need to create that on your site.

Hope that helps, but as always, if you need anything else, just let us know!

I did create a thankyou file and put the url in the module parameter. That's what is not working...

I just created a Thank You article with a menu item. It works fine as a menu item on my site. And I changed the URL in the Invite module to the URL of the thank you page. All permissions are set to public. But when I use the Invite module to send an invitation, I get the same results...invite works, but same error message as before, except that it shows the url of the thank you page now. (Thought for sure that was gonna work by-the-way...argh!) =( (Is there any way to just disable the "Thank You" feature?? Heheh.)

I'm stumped.

Griz

P.S. Just an FYI...the menu item even works (displays the thank you article) for unregistered users. Just can't figure this out.

There isn't a way to disable the Thank You feature. Basically, you have to redirect the user somewhere. If you wanted, we could help you to simply redirect the user to the same page they were on (basically refreshing it).

Otherwise, if you would, post the URL of the page with the Invite module and with it configured in the way you want, even if it creates the 404. When we see the code on the page, we can usually diagnose what's going wrong pretty quickly.

Thanks,
Alex
