I upgraded to the latest version of JFBConnect 3.4 and am using Jomsocial 2.2.4. I can login to the site ok but when I use Internet Expolerer I get the below warning message. I also get the same message while I am in Jomsocial and do a Show all Friends from the menu. Do you have any ideas?

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/halesc5/public_html/libraries/joomla/database/database/mysql.php on line 583

Jim,
Honestly, can't say I'm too sure where that's coming from.. or even if it's from JFBConnect. When it happens inside JomSocial when you do "Show All Friends", that definitely doesn't have anything to do with JFBConnect.. I don't believe we should be loading anything different on that page, unless you have some of our modules configured differently on that page.

As for logging in, the best I can guess (if it's a JFBConnect issue) is that you have never hit the Apply button in the Profiles configuration area of JFBConnect. While that shouldn't be necessary, if there aren't any defaults saved for the settings of the profiles plugins, bad things could happen.. but don't know what they would be.

Ultimately though, if everything's working as expected (outside of the warning), the other thing to note is that if this is on a live site, you shouldn't be running with PHP warnings enabled. To disable, go into the Global Configuration area, and change Error Reporting to "None". This will mask any PHP warning, notices, or errors so they aren't shown on the front-end. While extensions normally shouldn't throw these, on a live site, when it happens, you don't want them displayed the end user ever for security as well as just normal visual appeal.

Hope that helps get you going. If you figure out any specific times the error comes up more (or if, lets say, you disable the JomSocial profile plugin and it goes away), let us know and we'll gladly look into it more.

Thanks,
Alex
