a lot of my users still try and fill out the username and password field before they press the logon with facebook button. Is there a way to put in the module a way to give some instructions not to do so? Some header text or something?

Im interested because I see them getting frustrated and then just forgetting to try the website. Im trying to capture every second because every second counts to keep their interest....

Thanks!

There's a few options to help give more instructions for the user. First, you can add more instructions to the JFBCLogin module itself by creating a template override for the module and adding additional instructions. To learn how to do a template override, see:
www.sourcecoast.com/extensions/troublesh...ng-joomla-extensions

Alternatively, you can enable the standard Joomla Login module, and below (above, or near) that, add a custom HTML module. In that module, you can add free-text, and will allow you to really describe the alternative login process through Facebook. You can use the {JFBCLogin} tag in that module to show the Login With Facebook button. Finally, something like Advanced Module Manager (from NoNumber.nl ) to hide the custom HTML module when the user is logged in. For example text, you could do something like:
You can also register or login using Facebook. Just one click, for easy access to this site! {JFBCLogin}

Hope that gives you some ideas, but if you have other questions, just let us know!

I just think it might be a good idea to have a pre-text in the module.... the crazyness between joomla 1.5 and 1.6 is insane...

Thank again!

Your very helpful!

Alex,
I added pre-text as a task for us to look into. It should be pretty simple to do, but hopefully, you've got something going that works for you. If you have any other questions, or anything we can be help with, let us know.
