If you want users to register automatically, without creating a username, password, and email, set the "User Creation" option in the configuration area of JFBConnect to "Facebook User Only".

Good luck!

What version of Joomla are you using? We recently heard of that issue, and the user was using Joomla 1.5.0. If that's the case, you'll need to update to at least Joomla 1.5.11 (I think), but there's absolutely no reason for you not to upgrade to Joomla 1.5.23 (the newest version). There are tons of security and bug fixes in the new releases, including the fix/addition of JDate, which we require.

If you're on something newer, just let us know, and we'll investigate further what the issue may be.

Finally, yes, users can register normally without issue with the Facebook User Only setting. Additionally, if they already have a Joomla account, and you have the "Automatically link users by email" setting enabled, if they try to log in through Facebook, their accounts will be linked without creating them a separate Facebook user account.

Cengiz,
Sorry for the delayed response. Also, we should have realized that you were posting in the 1.6 forums, not 1.5. The error you mention actually is common on very, very old versions of Joomla 1.5

As for testing, I just tried your site at diablo3turk.com, and think you have a minor configuration problem with your application that should be fixed. Please update you Facebook application's settings as follows:
Site URL: www.diablo3turk.com/
Base URL: diablo3turk.com

That will allow the application to work on both www and non-www version of your site.

As for logging in, when I tried, I was redirected to the following page, which gave me a 404 error:
www.diablo3turk.com/index.php?Itemid=1

Please check that your new user redirection is setup to a menu item that exists and is published.

Beyond that, when I try to re-login, everything works as expected. I do not see the JDate error you mention. I think if you take care of the above 2 issues, you'll fix some problems that you may not even be aware of though.

Hope that helps, and let us know if you still are running into problems!
