As always, we'd recommend first doing a backup of your site before any upgrade.
You should just be able to install JFBConnect over the top of your existing installation. A couple of things to note:
* JFBConnect doesn't overwrite your configuration settings for the component, so they should persist on upgrade. Since the version you're upgrading from is a little outdated, I'd recommend checking through your settings in case any of the old settings were removed, etc and we have more configuration options as well.
* The version 6.0.3 that you're using does include our SCSocialWidget module for adding the social widgets to your page (such as Like buttons, Fan box, etc). However, it still would have worked with our older modules, like JFBCLike, etc. Please note that our newer version no longer supports the older modules, so if you hadn't switched to using the SCSocialWidget module yet for adding social widgets, you will need to do so at this point.
* We support more social networks now for authentication. Please look at our application setup guides at
www.sourcecoast.com/jfbconnect/docs/soci...etwork-applications/ for help in getting any of the newer providers set up correctly.
