I have version 6.0.1 of Facebook Connect and during the last days I get double news item and quadruple Share buttons! The news item (in some news, not all) appears at the bottom of the news item and share buttons appear 4 times instead of 1.

Is there a problem with my version? Does anyone have the same issue with latest version?

Also, can someone from the staff send me a PM? Because we have a localization co-operation and there is an issue. I wait for a PM for 4 days now.

Thank you.

I just updated your subscription. Please understand that weekend PMs may always have a delay associated with them.

As to your issue, please upgrade and let us know if you run into the same problem. We've never heard of this issue, so hopefully that fixes it. If not, please let us know specifically how you have the buttons configured at the bottom of the page as well as a URL where we can see the problem.

Thanks,
Alex

Not only I have the same problem with the 4 share buttons, but also the "Like" button has dissapeared!

Installation was successful, I did all the steps correctly, I did a "Site Check" and an "Error Check" but again nothing happened! The problem persists and now the login button is gone.

I've also checked my Facebook apps and I don't see any errors.

Please urgently provide a solution to the point!

From the classes around the buttons on that news item link, it looks to me that this is not a Joomla article or K2 item. These are the only two article types that the content plugin currently supports. To me, it looks like JReviews. How are you inserting the buttons on the page?

now the login button is gone.

Please provide a link and screenshot to what you're referring to. I see several instance of our social network login buttons and regular login buttons for Joomla credentials, so you will need to clarify.

Can't you see that my post right above has both an image and link?

Manos,
First, please understand that we treat all user issues with equal weight. You have been granted a free subscription for your translation efforts, which we appreciate. However, that doesn't give you the opportunity to demand urgent solutions or pushy behavior to get your responses faster.

Now, to your problem and questions:
1) The image you provided had a cut off URL. Regardless of that, Melissa already pointed out that the social buttons on the page do not look to be coming from JFBConnect but instead from jReviews. I just looked at the page again and the duplicated buttons seem to be fixed. Was her suggestion correct and did you figure this issue out already? If not, please let us know what happened and where we should be looking to see the current problem as I can't see it now.

2) When you said:

Can't you see that my post right above has both an image and link?

I'm assuming you didn't read Melissa's message at all. She was responding to your other issue regarding the login buttons:

Manos - now the login button is gone.
Melissa - Please provide a link and screenshot to what you're referring to. I see several instance of our social network login buttons and regular login buttons for Joomla credentials, so you will need to clarify.

We don't have an image, instructions or any information on where the 'missing' login buttons are. Please provide a link, image or some sort of instructions we can use to see where the missing buttons are and we'll gladly help. Without that, which you have not provided yet, we can't help you.

Again, going forward, please be considerate in your posts in the future both to us and to the other users on this site who also are asking for assistance. Also, please be sure to read each response we provide. Without providing the information we're asking for, you're only prolonging how long support will take to assist you.

Thanks,
Alex
