Help With Open Graph was created by alegag
Hi! I installed today the new component/open graph plugins
So i was trying to make some test. I've seen that Jomsicial Activity are just included by default, so i tried with them
-i created on my app (on facebook) the action "share" and the object "collection" (for example an user who upload a photo in Jomsocial can show is collection on Fb).
-i created on Jfbconnect panel a new Jomsocial action named "share" and a new object typs (ever with jomsocial) named "collection"
But when i try to upload a photo nothing is happen on my fb profile :|

Alessio,
When you're uploading the photo, are you doing it to an album in JomSocial, or somewhere else? Currently, our Open Graph Action plugin supports albums only, though there are lots of other areas we want to add upload photo support to (activity stream, groups, etc).

If you are trying to upload to an album and it's still not working, I'm not sure what the problem would be. My best suggestion would be to create a "Read" action like our open graph instructions show, and try that. That will test to make sure the overall Open Graph system is working on your site before you go into more specific actions.

Hope that helps, but if you need anything else, just let me know.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex, no way to make it work.
Also on read action or built in Fb action nothing happens.
I followed the guide step by step without success.
-i created the OBJECT on Fb
-i created Action connected to Object
-so i was able to see "action" command and "object" too.
-i put one and the other on open graph of jfbconnect and i associated action to object (Jomsocial action to Album Photo Upload) NOT built in action.
Nothing happens when i upload a new photo in my albums.
I can't try other actions because right now is useless for me an action on "contents" (i'm not writing / reviewing articles on my website) so at last i'd like to use only photo upload an join to group default Jomsocial action.
tell me the way to check if open graph works on my website.

Alessio,
I'm not sure what's going wrong from your description then. Can you Private Message a super administrator account to your site so we can investigate your configuration more, and then possibly test an upload as well?

Thanks,
Alex
