What's the site showing when it 'crashed'. Do you have PHP error messages or some other information you can tell us about what's wrong?
When you installed JFBConnect v4.3.3, did you already have v4.3 installed? Did you ever install v4.3 and then downgrade to v4.2 before re-installing v4.3? The errors you show are caused when the alterations we're trying to make to the database were already made, which isn't common. Also, you posted in the Joomla 1.5 forums. Is that the version of Joomla you're using?
There are a few ways around the database upgrade errors, but we just need to know more about the installation process you used and what errors you're seeing and that will help us figure out the right solution.
Yes I fixed it by downloading to 4.2.5 wich I had before - I am using Joomla 15 what should I do now - the error messages are those posted in this post
What were you trying to 'fix' when you downgraded? In general, we don't have a lot of support for downgrading our extensions, which is what's causing you the trouble you're running into now. To re-upgrade to JFBConnect v4.3, you'd need to revert the database changes of 4.3 so they can be properly re-applied. Specifically:
* Remove the params column from the #__jfbconnect_user_map table
* Remove all of the #__opengraph_xyz tables
That will let you re-upgrade to v4.3 without any issue. If you run into problems, let us know. We're working on making future versions more downgrade-able, but it's just not something we've run into in the past.
I'm still confused as to what worked in the old release that doesn't in the new. Those changes above will let you re-install JFBConnect v4.3 without any issues, hopefully, but I can't guarantee you won't have other problems that you had before.
We are back again to the original problem - when I try to edit my jomsocial profile I get: Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home /public_html/libraries/joomla/registry/registry.php on line 227 and suddenly l get the Joomfish System Plugin not enabled ( but it is enabled)...
what can I do now?
Go to the Configuration area of JFBConnect and simply hit 'apply'. Test again.
You don't need to change any settings, just re-save your current settings.
If that doesn't work, set your Error Reporting to "None" in Joomla, which should mask that notice. If you want us to look further into it, please let us know what plugins you have enable from JFBConnect.
The errors are still there no matter what I do - and now I also have the Joomfish System Plugin not enabled problem.. ns this appears eventhough the system plugin is enabled: {JFBCLiveStream event_app_id=110476155658611 width=720 height=160 xid= via_url= always_post_to_friends=1 key=} (The module does not show up) and it gives some heavy java script problems causing other modules, templates and extensions not to work right - I have again downloaded to 4.2.5 again - Joomfish is now not working
