Hello again, I get an automated message that there is a new comment, but it's not there, even four hours later. This has happened a number of times in the past as well.

Here's the message that just dropped into my mailbox. Try clicking on the link.

The email will be sent when a new comment is created or if a comment was deleted by a user after posting it (that can happen if they were testing something). It can also occur if a user posts a comment but it's immediately marked as spam by Facebook (not common, but possible).

Also, the email that is sent can sometimes have the wrong URL on it. It happens if you're in a blog view or somewhere else where a comment box can be displayed that is meant for a different URL, like the individual articles. The email will have the URL of the blog post and not the actual 'final' URL.

We're looking into possible fixes. In the meantime, you should be able to use the Comment Moderation page at the bottom of that email and sort by posting order to find the actual comment.

Great to hear. Sorry for the confusion, and glad we include that link in the email. Hopefully we'll have something worked out in the next release, but until then, the notification still does tell you that a comment was made.. the link isn't 100% trustworthy though.
