Status not updating in FB

Im getting the same problem.

When new (or old) users login in using JFBconnect on my joomla/jomsocial site everything seems to update from facebook (Name, FB profile photo)
BUT for some reason the users Facebook status does not connect and cant be seen on my jomsocial activity feed. After the initial facebook login/connect JFBConnect does NOT ask for publishing permission on my site like it does with the demo version. Is there any way to make this work?

I'm having this same issue. Just bought and installed the two paid for and one free extension and all works fine, very happy with it. But, the status is not being updated when a user logs into our site, their status is not being updated with the <user> just logged into <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="www.xxxxxx.xxx">www.xxxxxx.xxx. I would like to get this running. Any help would be appreciated.

Ok, I will continue here. First off I want to tell you that I am VERY happy with the way the component/module/plugin work with joomla and jomsocial. Much better than the JS supplied FB Connect. So, please don't take my questions as being negative.

I checked my permissions on facebook and they are pretty much wide open. I have the option set to yes to put the login update on fb but it never gets there. If I could get that going now that would be great. Everything else works fine so I don't know what additional info would help you to help me with this particular issue. The fb login works like a champ so I have no idea why this part of it doesn't.

I'm very pleased with the way this is working overall, it is so much cleaner and intuitive than the native JS FB connect component. When I demo'ed their product to some facebook users they were a little baffled, this one was much easier for them.

I have update status message set to yes, I have text in the message area for both login and new user. I have checked the configs at least a dozen times, I have saved it again and again. Still nothing happens. I just checked it again after reading your post and saved it again, logged in via facebook using my test account and nothing appeared in facebook at all.

I have no more ideas. I love the way this works but would really appreciate getting this fixed. We've put off the promo for the site again this week because of this issue and we just can't keep doing that.
