Hello Everyone,

I have purchased JFBConnect this morning and would like to know that currently I am on temporary URL so is it possible to set-up JFBConnect completely using temporary URL? So that I can see it's working before going on permanent URL/domain.

Joomla: 1.5.26
Virtuemart: 1.1.9 stable

An early reply is requested.....

Thanks and Regards,
Abhishek

Absolutely. Just run our Autotune Configuration Tool while you are logged into the admin area on the temporary site. That will configure your Facebook App for the temporary URL.

After you've set everything up how you want it, move to the new server and run Autotune again. In the FB App section, hit the "Refresh" button and then use the new recommended settings for the 'live'/production site and everything should just start working again.

Hope that helps explain, but if you have any questions, just let us know!

Thanks,
Alex

Der Alzander,

While doing AutoTune, in step 5 Error Check, When I pressed on start so this error came - Test: Facebook Javascript library inclusion

Warn: Another Facebook extension is installed, including the Facebook Javascript library, and may conflict.

How to rectify this error?

Also in JFBConnect Overview Tab, it seems that social extensions are not installed so how to install those social extension?

It is showing there like this(See the attachment)

Dear Alzander,

I am unable to login on the website using login form after installing JFBConnect login. But I am loggin in successfully using my default website's login form. Why is so?

Also please tell me what is virtuemart profiles plugin? When I came on the "Profiles" tab of JFBConnect so it's recommended there visiting the Facebook Integration for Virtuemart (www.sourcecoast.com/jfbconnect/docs/thir...ation-for-virtuemart ). So My question is what is the work of this plugin. Please tell me in simple words.

Abhisek,
I just looked at the home page of your site, and the warning that Autotune is throwing is not a real error. Autotune looks for a Javascript file included on the page called 'all.js', which is the Facebook Javascript file. On your site, another extension is including a file called "extjs2&file[3]=ext-all.js" which is throwing off our check. It's really not a problem though as that is not a real conflict.

Also please tell me what is virtuemart profiles plugin?

Virtuemart is an eCommerce extension for Joomla. If you don't have that installed, you should not enable the JFBConnect - Profiles - Virtuemart plugin. That is likely the cause of any login issues you have. If you have any other jfbcprofiles plugins installed, please do not enable them unless you have the other extension they are meant for also installed (JomSocial, Community Builder, Virtuemart, etc).
You can disable these plugins in the Joomla Plugin Manager

Also when I click on Send button on the website so nothing happens.

I could not find a Send button on your site. Can you please let me know where I can see/test the Send button on your site?

Thanks,
Alex

I do have virtuemart installed on the joomla as it's aa e-commerce website. I have installed plg_jfbcprofiles_virtuemart_j1.5_v4.2.0.zip in the backend and have enabled it. I only have virtuemart profile plugin installed in the backend, I did not install any other jfbcprofiles plugins installed other than the plg_jfbcprofiles_virtuemart_j1.5_v4.2.0.zip.

I am unable to login through the "Authentication - JFBConnect Facebook" Whenever I tried to login through this module so it gives me following error:

An error occurred during a connection to biz104.inmotionhosting.com.

SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length.

(Error code: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long)

I don't know why the above error is coming every time I try login to the website but I am successfully login though the default login form/module of my website.

The Send button I am talking about, please check the screenshot below :
