comments in facebook are not seen in article view

Where are you posting the article? If you're creating a status update on your profile page, and including a link to the article, the comments won't attach to the actual article. The comments would then be for your status update which may, or many not, be about the actual article. The comments are for whatever content the user is commenting on, and in that case, it would be your status update, not the actual article.

There's no way to have a status update's comments 'push' to any links that may be referenced in the status update.

Not any way that I know of or have heard of. We've looked into ways to tie the two together before, but wasn't able to find anything. If you find anything out about how to do so, or see another site that is managing to do it, let us know.
