Hello,

When i click on connect with facebook, even if i have jfbconnect.js included in my template cache desactivated, i still have only a popup where i put my facebook login and password, and popup disappeared, then i am not connected in my website throught facebook, like if nothing happened.
What is wrong ?

when i use demo in this website : demo.sourcecoast.com/index.php?option=co...icle&id=2&Itemid=111

i only have popup, i enter facebook account and nothing happens

Hello,

I have the exact same problem, when i try to login using facebook botton, it shows popup where i enter mail adress and password, then it disappeard, and then like nothing happened, if i connect to facebook i am already logged in, but in my website, it is not working, i did not have any message like you are logged in using facebook credentials, and it is like i never logged in.
When i try again to log using facebook, it shows only pop up and disappears.
I have also jfbconnect.js in my template, all cache is desactivated, and i can't see any error message when pop up disappeard.
Please help me solving the issue. thanks a lot

There's a few different causes that can cause this problem to happen. Can you please make sure the Autotune Configuration tool in JFBConnect has properly configured your app and that the Error Checker tool reports no issues?

If those work, and you still have issues, please let us know your Joomla and JFBConnect versions. Also, please post from the account you have an active subscription to JFBConnect from. Priority support is for active subscribers only.

I am just talking about the demo demo.sourcecoast.com/index.php?option=co...icle&id=2&Itemid=111
when i click on login with facebook, i get a popup then it goes, when i try to login with www.sourcecoast.com/forums , like here
it works fine, it is normal that the demo is not working and thiswebsite working ??

I am in work it could be a proxy issue ? or may be template of demo.sourcecoast.com/index.php?option=co...icle&id=2&Itemid=111 is overriding something ?

The demo site has many, many registrations daily as well as this site. They are configured similarly and there shouldn't be any reason you can login to one but not the other.

I'm not sure what would be causing the problem for you on the demo site, or on your live site, and it's something we'd have to investigate more. I'd recommend trying from a different computer, outside your proxy, or from a different Facebook account to see if that helps the problem. If so, let us know and we can help investigate more on the demo site why that would be a problem. If you're having issues on your own site with JFBConnect though, you'll need to have a subscription for support with those issues.

I don't know if this could help...
Anyway something strange happen also into my website.
I don't know exactly if this can create the problem.. but i was warking on my localhost webiste and i was making some test for a future migration to joomla 2.5. So i activated CURL and everything stop to work also on my remote website!
Not anymore access with administrator (frontend and backend) and no access with some users that i create for test.
I don't know how could possible.. but seems that Database keep some session active until time limit. Then everything go well.
I cleaned the cache of browser, i stopped all service (apache + mysql) in local computer. I waited some time.. then everything seems ok.
Is a coincidence or CURL activated on localhost create error in remote server?
