I have the same issue i think this is not SOLVED as it says, any one has a clue how i can fix that?? i have a client annoying me a lot because im not giving what i offer <!-- s:| --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_neutral.gif" alt=":|" title="Neutral" /><!-- s:| --> hope this is fixed soon!

also having a problem with the jfConect that doesnt extract the facebook profile info...

...just kidding. Sorry for the delay in response. We have to juggle custom client work along with extension support and we've had very busy customers.

Have you both tried adding the line specified earlier in this thread? If so, how are you testing it? Just by logging in or by signing up for a new account? If you can describe what you are trying to do, I should be able to help.

I have added the line.

The way I am testing this is by logging in using my facebook account...and expecting to see something on my wall, but I see nada.

If your account was already registered with your Facebook application, it probably does not have the correct permissions. Try this:

- Go log in to Facebook.
- Go to Account -> Application Settings.
- Find your Application and click Edit Settings.
- Click the Additional Permissions tab.
- Check "Publish to streams" (or let me know what settings are there).

When a new user signs up or accepts your application from now on, they are prompted to allow this permission. Any existing users, however, are not prompted. We are looking at adding a feature in the next version that will allow you to set a flag to prompt users the next time they log in if they have not accepted the additional permissions.

You can also test hooking up your Facebook account again (like a new user would experience) by deleting your application on the Application Settings page by clicking the X on the right. Once you've done this, you should get the Facebook pop-up asking to allow your application access to your information again the next time you log into your site.

Let me know what happens.

I checked the application settings and following was already checked...

Publish recent activity (one line stories) to my wall


I then deleted this application so that I can add this app again and that did not help either.

Can you PM me your website and I will try signing up and logging in using Facebook to see if I can see why it's not working? I'm not sure what else to have you try at this point.

I am having an issue with connecting the FB posts to Jomsocial and vise versa.
