[Resolved] Facebook Connect Button gone in Windows 7

Okay, so I've read up all the known issues of Facebook Connect buttons disappearing and noted the posts which were solved. I looked up the sites, including the JFBConnect demo using IE8 and did not see the button. It did however, work in FF and Chrome.

Lo and behold, when I checked the same sites using IE8 but on Vista on another computer, it worked. Is there something to Windows 7 or a default IE8 setting that I'm not checking which Windows 7 enables? Thanks.

For what its worth, the Facebook Connect Image was showing up fine on the same computer using IE 8 prior to my upgrade from Vista to Windows 7.

Further update...It may not have anything to do with your code. I was on several other websites and the Facebook connect button was not showing in IE8 under Windows 7, and it was not showing on Facebook's Developers Sandbox Tool. So, my research will focus more on Windows 7 in general and if there is anything specific causing the FB login button to not display.

Problem solved. You have to make sure your Flash IE Plugin is the latest available...I upgraded to 10.0.32.18 from an earlier version of Flash that I downloaded when I first installed Windows 7.

I suppose that is the fix...and if so, I hope it helps others.
