Hi there, I am trying to implement JFBConnect on a site I am working on - [url:3w2rhto5]http://www.gayukguides.com[/url:3w2rhto5]
Using Joomla 1.5.14
PHP 5.2.9
Community Builder 1.2.1

It's almost working(!) but I get the following error after agreeing to connect via Facebook:

Warning: curl_setopt() [function.curl-setopt]: CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION cannot be activated when in safe_mode or an open_basedir is set in /home/gukg/public_html/components/com_jfbconnect/helpers/communitybuilderhelper.php on line 151

Warning: filesize() [function.filesize]: stat failed for jfbc_1660283129pic_tmp in /home/gukg/public_html/administrator/components/com_comprofiler/imgToolbox.class.php on line 467

The user shows with their Facebook profile image but the process does not complete properly. If I click on a link to show the Communnity Builder profile it says:
This user has not yet confirmed his email address and account!
This user has not yet been approved by a moderator!

Any ideas?

Some progress... I changed the registration settings in Community Builder so new users don't need approval.

Now it appears to have worked expect the user cannot edit their profile.

This user has not yet confirmed his email address and account!
This user has not yet been approved by a moderator!

If I sync the users in Community Builder this goes away.

However it still hasn't populated any of the fields from Facebook and Community Builder does not have the photo.

Does this thing actually work?

Im 99% sure this is because u have required fields in CB

You have to remove most of those required fields. If they are empty, the new user is rejected by the database.

Remove all required fields in community builder and try again. This should be in the tutorial on CB integration, because its a component breaking feature if u dont know about it

bjorn190 is likely correct. Additionally, we've set up a new Problem Solving FAQ-like post which we'll be updating as more questions like this arise. We're sorry for the confusion and hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any other issues, and we'll do what we can to help you resolve them.
