Hi there

I am doing an upgrade on samstailor.com

I have gone from 3.01 to the latest version.

I have replaced the login module with the new module, and the API key and secret key are in place, and when I login to the site, my FB wall shows a message that I have visited.

BUT

the Module does not change to reflect the login,

nor does the email appear in the newsletter signup as before.

AND

If I set an autologin from Facebook, I end up with a redirection loop.

I would like it so that new, logged in Facebook users get signed in and redirected to sign up to the newsletter.

Existing users can get logged in automatically and stay in the same place.

Can I PM you details and you take a look at what is going on? How do I do that?

Daniel,
Your registration page (in Chrome at least) has the Login and Register buttons way off-center. The "Login" button, for the left-hand form, is under the Registration form and the Register button is off in the right side-bar for some reason. It's very confusing. I don't think that's part of the issue for any of your problems, but wanted to point it out so you can fix that as well.

As for your registration issue, please make sure that you have the 4.1 version of the JFBConnect authentication and user plugins installed (since you upgraded from a really old version). Also make sure that both are enabled, especially the authentication plugin.

If those are enabled and it's still not working, let us know. We can help you further from there.

Thanks for the heads up on Chrome, I am not seeing that on my version of Chrome for Mac, can you give me more details on the browser setup you have?

I am looking for those plugins in the download package available for Joomla 1.5 on my subscription and see none such plugins available.

Where do I download them?

Attached is the image of what I see. The Login and Register buttons are shifted. There seems to be a large margin-left setting on the buttons:

As for the user and authentication plugins, those are installed automatically by JFBConnect and included in the main component file. You should just need to check the JFBConnect Overview page to see if it says they are up-to date. Then, check the Plugin manager to make sure that there is only one copy of each installed and enabled.

Hi Alex

1) Thanks for the Screenshot, which version of chrome are you running on what OS, it would help me narrow down the bug, thanks.

2) I have checked the plugins, they are up to date, though some of the modules are not. They are also unique and activated (the plugins).

I can log in fine, but my partner is encountering errors.

Would you mind taking a look, and seeing if you log in OK?
