It is mandatory to use JFBconnect button for use all other stuff?

I wondering if is mandatory to use JFBconnect button for use all other stuff.

In fact I plan to remove the FBconnect button and so disallow users to register to my site using FB. This because I use CB and now my CB registration setup has become more complicated than before because I use many conditional CB fields in different situation. I know I can get some issue because for this setup, reason why is better in my case to left FB connect. I did not also noticed more registration on my site because I give the possibility to use FB Connect...

However I would like continue to display Like button and some others module and use in near future Canvas feature on my FB page (under construction)...

any clue ?
