Hello there! It's me again...

Why don't I receive notifications via email? I have set everything correctly (I think) but still no emails.

I have read this post: www.sourcecoast.com/forums/jfbconnect/jf...-on-graph-not-saving
followed the instructions there but I still can't get my notifications to work. I think maybe it's the OpenGraph settings but I don't know anything about OpenGraph. I have read the post but I am having a hard time comprehending it.

I really need this feature so we can reply and monitor the comments in our articles. I know that you can help me out. Thanks!

In the Global Configuration area of your site, in the "Server" tab, set your Mailer setting to PHPMailer and try that.

If that doesn't work, can you post a link to a page with a comments box, and we'll try to diagnose things from that page.

Thanks,
Alex

I am already using PHP mailer for my emails. So I think it's not the error.

Here's a link to one of my pages with fbcomments: www.upcatreview.com/upg

Ian,
I'm not seeing anything wrong with that page. Would it be possible to send us super admin credentials so we can get into the site to try to debug the issue?

The only other suggestions I'd have, right now, are to add This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to the notification list, and post a comment. I'll let you know if I get anything. Beyond that, it seems like something is blocking the emails, but I'm not sure what.

You can Private Message me the credentials by clicking the arrow under my picture (<----) and hitting the mail icon.

Thanks,
Alex

Ian,
Thanks for the credentials. Fortunately, the problem was an easy fix. The email addresses in the notification box need to be comma separated, not on new lines. We agree this can be confusing, and will likely support both methods in a future update.

Either way, I added a comment and got the email.. you should have as well. I also removed myself from the notifications list.

Hope that helps, and should you need anything else, just let us know!
