Why do only 3 "unmapped user fields" show up in registration? How can this be changed? We have about 10 fields we want to require on registration when using "full joomla user" mode, but the login page only shows 3. Thanks!

Sometimes only 2 fields show up, sometimes 4. Never more than that. Very strange.

Joe,
I greatly apologize for not getting back to this, and the other few posts you've made in the last few days. I waited on answering the JLinked/JFBConnect integration one, and then all your posts got into a holding pattern bucket. Let's try to set that right now :)

What you describe is definitely very strange, and not something I can say I know the answer too off-hand. The fields that should be shown are any fields that are marked as registration, profile, and required, but not setup with any mapping within JFBConnect. If they have a mapping, we do not show those fields at all.

In addition, we do work with the JomSocial Multiprofile system, so if you're using multiple profiles, I can see that being a cause for showing more or less fields during registration. However, the amount should only change when the user selects a different profile OR the admin selects a different 'default' profile for all users.

If none of the above info helps explain what's going on, then frankly, I'm a bit stumped.. and may need to see your site configuration to understand further.

Hope that helps explain, but again, if not, let us know, and we'll try to figure it out best we can.

Thanks,
Alex

Thanks! It looks like the issue was that it was a multi-profile issue and the fields were not enabled in the multiprofile (or something like this) - reverting to default profile fixed it.

Glad to hear that got you going. If you need to use mult-profile, and run into that issue again (which is odd), just let us know!

Thanks,
Alex
