Just bought this extension a few days ago. Right now I have comments at the bottom of each article. If a Facebook user comments on the article, only this user can see them. If I log out with this Facebook user, the comments are no longer there. If I log in with super admin or another Facebook account the comments aren't there. Only if I log back in with the same Facebook user I can see the comments.

What is wrong? Any ideas?

Can you post a URL this happens on? There's a few possible causes, but if we see (and test) on the page, it should help us give the best solution.

Thanks,
Alex

The site is in development, I'll PM you info.
Or if you have a few pointers on where to look, that will be great.

Coolios,
It's impossible to be 100% certain on this, but the most likely reason that only the user that posted the comments can see them is because your site is completely restricted. Facebook needs to be able to scan the pages that comments are posted on so that it can determine that the site isn't spammy, malware, or other 'bad' material. Once they've scanned a few pages from your site, they'll mark the whole thing as 'good', and things should act just fine then. Until your site (or parts of it) are public though, you'll be in a very restricted mode from Facebook.

Hope that makes sense, but let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,
Alex

Thanks for the response. I'll test it again once I go live to see if it makes any difference.
We all start with just a development site that is offline until it is ready, but this problem hasn't come up before from other users?

Thanks again

Lots of things happen when Facebook can't see your site. If you add a Like button, you'll likely get messages that the URL is unreachable. Until Facebook can scan the page, it's really up to them as to how they want to restrict things, and comment restrictions has been mentioned in the past, but it's never been a steady problem after the site's gone live.

Good luck,
Alex
