Next to buttons, actual code shows on site. How do I rectify this?

I did a search of the forums. Is this happening because I didn't install the social_modules plugin? I tried installing and I get this message: Error! Could not find an XML setup file in the package.

What am I doing wrong?

Solved both issues. Sorry

System plugin not enabled
upload individual plugins within social module
