Hello there,

Some of users (registred or not) told me that it is very difficult to register on my site. I was really surprised, because I have installed JFB Connect there are few months, and I thought it was running well.

I don't know why, I have an error each time I want to register my site. I mean, for tests, I log out, and I try to register my own site... And I have an error. Same thing for a friend that is not actually registred... So I guess all the visitors have the same problem, and this is really a bad situation for me. We make some events and they're supposed to be really attractive for new subscriptions.

I had a look to te configuration steps... Facebook API, JFBC plugins, JFBC configuration (all the tabs)... all the steps were done, and the error is still here...

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

I see your subscriotion expired, so I can't tell what version of JFBConnec you're using. The latest is 4.0.3, and the first recommendation we'd have is to make sure you're using that.

If that not the issue, please post your URL and we'll try to take a look. Users with active subscriptions have priority for support though.

Thanks for your answer.
I know that my subscription is not active, but like I said, I thought that it was running well... The users of my site told me that there was a problem...
As a little contributor of JFB Connect (I gave a french translation for the component there are few months), I hoped that I would have some support. But I understand if not...

I have the 4.0.1 version... So this is not the latest version. Do you think this is the problem?

No worries, we still help people after their ubscription expires as long as they're on a relatively recent version, which you are. The issue you're having is bcause you're not on 4.0.3.. its likely due to another fb extension causing a conflict... try disabling anything else you might have running. If you want us to look, just post or pm your url, and we'll do what we can to narow things down.

Ok Alex.

I disabled the JomSocial Facebook Connect plugin, and I erased all the Facebook Connect datas in the JomSocial configuration tab.
I don't have the same error... Just have a look to the attachment. Don't know why I have this message.

I'll upgrade the component next month I think.
