Hello,
My autologin works, but not in a way that I like. My email in facebook was same as my site ADMIN email. With that, auto-login logs in the admin. I don't know it happens. I have another userid on my joomla site that I use to post the blogs and forums, etc.
After changing the admin email to match my regular joomla ID email, auto-login still logs the ADMIN even though the email is no longer same as in Facebook.
Please help

JFBConnect simply 'maps' Facebook users to the Joomla users on your site. If you initially create a mapping, even if you change the email address on either end, the mapping still remains. There's two ways you can re-map your Facebook user to a different Joomla account:
1) In the JFBCLogin module, enable the "Allow reconnections" setting. Then, on the front end, login with the Joomla user. You should see a "Connect this account to your FB account?" button. Click that, and login to FB with the account you want associated with the Joomla one. JFBConnect will break the old mapping and make a new one.

2) In the User Map section of the JFBConnect admin area, simply delete the row that's the mapping between your Joomla admin and Facebook accounts. If you changed the email in Facebook, then the next time you try to login, JFBConnect will search for the same email and Joomla and make that connection. If the email isn't in Joomla, it will try to register a new account.

Hope that all makes sense,
Alex

Thanks Alex. Method 1 works. I am learning... great product. On a side note, is it ok to automatically pull the profile(s) from facebook? I also configuring the apps and canvas. When a user click I like on my site....does it increase the count on facebook and update the profiles?

Glad you're liking JFBConnect so far, and glad you're taking advantage of our support. It's what we're here for, and we want to make sure you're happy!

As for your questions, yes it's ok to automatically pull profiles from Facebook. It's allowed in their Terms of Service, and the user has to explicitly give permissions for extra fields that you might want, which indicates that they are ok with your site seeing that information.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean about the canvas stuff. There's a few different 'pages' and things on Facebook. Each Like button can either be configured for a URL on your site or to refer to your Facebook Page. If you set a Like button on your site, with a URL of your page (ex: {JFBCLike url=http://www.facebook.com/SourceCoast} ). When a user clicks that Like button, it would increase the Like count of your FB Page. If you did a URL of your site, then the Like count wouldn't increase any counts on Facebook itself, just the counter in that Like button itself.

Hope that makes sense, but if I'm not clear, or didn't answer your question, let me know!

Good luck,
Alex
