I'm using the latest version JFBCLogin 4.0.2.

Unfortunately the avatar link to Facebook does not open in a new window/tab like the other modules seem to do.

I would appreciate help to know what code and what file I should edit to have the avatar link in the JFBCLogin 4.0.2 open up in a new window/tab.

Thanks in advance :)

Guy,
We're looking into this. The way we show the user's FB avatar right now is actually on it's way out while we update how we do that. Unfortunately, with the current method, there's no real way to change the link type to open in a new window. With the new system, we're expecting that we can do this easily.

Give me a little bit, and I'll try to get back an answer with a code change in a few days. If it's absolutely urgent to get this going now, just let me know and I can more it up in the priority a bit.

Thanks,
Alex

Alex,
Thanks for your reply. I now understand there's not an easy solution. It's not top priority so I'll disable the avatar and await your planned permanent solution in the upcoming near future.

I do have a more pressing issue with a Jomsocial self profile turning up a blank page, but only for that particular logged in user and all others appear to be able to access it??

I'll start a new topic for this issue...

Thanks again, Guy

Thanks for letting us know the priority. Will still try to get back to this soon, but if I forget, don't hesitate to re-post to this thread. Either way, we agree this is the correct behavior, and are pretty confident that it will be working this way in the 4.1 release due out later this year.
