Topic-icon JFBConnect suppose to create Jomsocial user?

I am using Joomla 1.5.23 and JomSocial 2.2.4 along with JFBConnect 4.0.3.
When a user logs into the Joomla / JomSocial site for 1st time utilizing JFBConnect it allows the log-in and everything is fine however it does not create a new user in the JomSocial users. It only creates a new user in Joomla. How can I use ADMIN features to edit Karma and other JomSocial user settings if it does not create a user in JomSocial??

Am I doing something wrong? It does everything else correct shows in member list etc.

Mike,
Something's definitely not correct if a JS user isn't created. Do you have the JFBConnect JomSocial Profile plugin installed and published? It should also be set to Public. That's what creates the JomSocial user. With that setup, go into the "Profiles" area of JFBConnect and set it to import profiles always and test again. You shouldn't need to import them always (on every login), but just test this way for now.

If that's still not creating the user, then let me know any other Authentication or User plugins you have enabled on your system, as it's possible one is causing a conflict. It's not common, but does happen.

Thanks for the quick reply. I do have those plug-in enabled and set to public. I attached all the other enabled plug-ins. Maybe have a look and see if I did something wrong. If not I can give you admin access to take a look.

***UPDATE: It is working now. I think I had already put my username in Joomla and so when I connected I said I already had an account or something. Not sure. Anyway I deleted my username from Joomla, connected with JFBConnect and created a new account. Everything works like it should.

Glad to hear it works.. if you can recreate the issue, and think that something isn't working right or communicated properly in certain cases, definitely let us know. There's a lot of different 'paths' that can be taken for registration, and we do extensive testing in a lot of different ways, but always possible we missed something.
