Hello,

Using JFB 4.0.2 in J1.5.23, the JFBLogin module logout button does not work. Clicking it produces this error in Firebug:

jfbcLogoutLink is not defined
[Break On This Error] self.location = jfbcLogoutLink;
jfbconnect.js (line 43)

Jordan,
I'm assuming you're using some sort of minimization script or caching script. Please clear the Joomla caches if you just upgraded to 4.0+, and that will refresh the Javascript file that we include, which no longer tries to call that code. That's a call from the older 3.x versions.

If that doesn't work, please post (or PM) your URL again. I don't remember it offhand.

Thanks,
Alex

Alex,
I am terribly sorry.
I made a silly mistake. I failed to clear my CDN cache and after inatalling 4.0 in was pulling all sorts of old files from prior to the upgrade. Stupidity on my part but a lesson to others, clear CDN cache!

No problem, as always, it's what we do :D

What CDN do you use, out of curiosity (and Joomla extension), if you don't mind? Looking into some right now, and would love a recommendation if you have one.

Thanks,
Alex

I use MaxCDN.

Incredibly good prices yet, highly robust, great cPanel

And I use NoNumber's CDN plugin. Peter's stuff is awesome and this plugin is no exception. Works great with almost no exceptions.

Thanks for the tip. Definitely agree about Peter's stuff. We have a NoNumber license for SourceCoast, and were looking into his MaxCDN extension already.. Good to hear from you about your experience.

Best of luck,
Alex

Hi Alex,

I reviewed JFB on JED a year a go (5/5 of course) but I have to say, version 4 is simply extraordinary.

The added plugins are blowing my mind. Absolutely beautiful code. Astonishing work.

(I have run out of superlatives)
