I want to have a FB Tab like the SourceCoast "Like" page and then I want a Canvas Page to display my site like the SourceCoast example.

Does this require two different Facebook apps?

Nope. You can have one Canvas page (apps.facebook.com/your-canvas-page) and one tab page (which can be installed on unlimited Facebook Pages) for each application.

Facebook recently updated their App configuration area, so our screenshots are a little out of date, but you can configure the canvas and page tab URLs in your FB App. Then, in JFBConnect, simply set the template you want to use for each view, and you should be good to go.

If you have any specific questions though, or think our guide is missing some info, just let us know!

Good luck,
Alex

I have the Canvas Page and the Page Tab set up so that JFBConnect reports they are properly configured. The Page Tap works just fine. It shows up on the left hand side of my Facebook Page and first time visitors land on that page first.

The Canvas Page is working but I don't know how to make it available on my Facebook Page. I can only see my URL show up on the Canvas if I view the app from the Create/Modify app pages.

How do I get the Canvas page to be a part of my Facebook Page

A Canvas page is unrelated to your Facebook Page. You can link to it and do different things from your Facebook Page, but there's no way to display your full Canvas area inside your Facebook Page. That's why it gets its own SEF URL on Facebook.. it's meant to be a destination on it's own, not a 'part' of another page within Facebook.

Hope that makes sense.. but if you think it can work differently, or see different behavior with what we're doing on our site/canvas area just let us know.

Thanks,
Alex
