Confirmed problem with CB username field

sorry to more less double post but I have the confirmation something go wrong when users choose a non conventional username...

Please take a look to my post of yesterday here who contain part of the issue:

Just right now 3 users have registered using FB and one of them get problem. This users is marked Non confirmed and Non Approved in CB... The difference between this user and the 2 others is the username contain a dot inside like my.username. This seem the problem because JFBconnect allow user to register but CB disallow this...resulting in a wrong registration.

Of course I can set Username CB field for allow any kind of character who will probably solve the registration problem, but like I said on my other post, this is not a solution because I will get more problem due to the username format.

Hope you can fix this issue soon... I would like start to make Ads campaign on FB and would like avoid problem during registration process...otherwise users will unable to interact with my site..
