Cannot get FB connect to work as adverstised for me

I am using JRB connect 2.1.2, Joomla 1.5.10 using the JA_OPal template. FB login, FB invite modules are enabled. FB authenication and JFBConnect Namespace is enabled. API & Key stuff is working. Once I attempt to log on FB I get the credentials dialog box. After a successful login, it renders the front page of my website with no scroll bar in another window. FB connect status does not change on the main window. Did I misconfigure something. Is there a step by step guide for setup. I would love to integrate into my website.
