How to get the number of facebook likes bubble next to things

Right now, the extra social buttons are only available in the content plugin for Joomla articles and K2 items. You can enable them in the Social Configuration area in the "Content Plugin - Like" and "Content Plugin - K2 Like" tabs.

For the 4.1 release, we're planning to add the ability to include those buttons either through the JFBCLike module, {JFBCLike} tags, or something similar.

It's likely the width of the Like button that you're using. In the content plugin, change it's width (I think it defaults to 250) to something like 100. Even though, in your picture, it looks like it can easily fit, since it's in an iFrame, the extra width is reserved for the widget anyways and the browser's automatically bringing it down to the next line... I think
