Hi, I have just upgraded to Problems after upgrading to JFBConnect 4.0.1 and now it doesn't work any more. It pops up the box as if connecting and then it disappears and that is all it does. If I log in it changes to Connect and that dosen't work either. I've tested this on IE8, IE9, Chrome and also on a completely different Mac.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm stuck without it.

The site is www.redtreestudio.ie

Anything on the control panel has a green tick and the upgrade reported no problems.

Carl,
Clear your cache. Our Javascript file (/components/com_jfbconnect/includes/jfbconnect.js) changed quite a bit with this release, and on your page, the 'old' version is still being included in a compressed and minified form. Clearing the standard Joomla cache should do it, but the compressed file looks like it's from your template, which in some cases have their own method to re-generate the combined Javascript.

It's working with IE8 and IE9.

In Chrome (which is what I originally tested with), I'm still seeing the page trying to load the cached file which contains the old Javascript:
/cache/template/js.php?id=6c4d230382ee10910aab93c3c99b08fc

I haven't cleared my Chrome cache, but that may be what's required to get it going for you. You may want to disable the Javascript caching for a few hours to let things expire more naturally, and then re-enable it to have all the cache regenerated.
