Hi,
I have bought your jfb components over a month ago. I didn't have time to tested, but I notice that JomSocial built one for them self!
Before I finally install your component, could you insure me please that you will keep working hard on this? Or are you canceling the development?

+ To who.. who knows how this and jomsocial Facebook content component works - what is better?
Thank you very much for your answers!
Regards
Jan

In short: Absolutely, we plan to continue developing JFBConnect for both JomSocial, Community Builder, and those sites that aren't using any community components.

In (much) longer form:
We started development on this component in January and have made great progress. We have no intention of throwing it away because (some) of the features are being integrated into JomSocial. The component we built allows for additional modules to be added such as the JFBCInvite and the Comments module. We plan to continue developing these add-ons, assisting 3rd party developers in creating their own add-ons, as well as integrating more features into the 'core' of JFBConnect.

Finally, Facebook integration is a development teams' work. While great for the basic features, we don't expect the new JomSocial Facebook integration to provide all the features that we already have available. Our feeling (and this has been lightly discussed with the JomSocial devs) is that they'll take care of 'basic' integration for importing profile and user data, but JFBConnect will be an upgrade to allow for tighter integration. Let the JomSocial and Community Builder teams focus on the 'community' within your site, and we'll take care of the community between your site and Facebook.

We have quite a few feature additions upcoming, we just overhauled the JFBCInvite module ( Check it out! ), and are about to start a marketing push to raise awareness and get more developers. The future looks bright for Facebook on your Joomla site!

Great, Great, Great news!
I'm really happy you said that! I was afraid you would leave it as it is! I also believe they should more concentrate in the communities (mean JS+CB) it self!
Thank you and please keep updating about new stuff :)

Wish you all the best!
If you need any help with design - front-end developing or even a hosting let me know!

Regards :)
