Hi,

We want to use Facebook Comments on our K2 items. Under Social - Content Plugin - K2 Comments I have "Show in K2 item view set to bottom and I have k2 Category Setting = All.

K2 is not displaying the FB comments, but the old comment module. Perhaps the two are conflicting, but I dont know where to disable the existing commenting extensin. You can see an example of it here: facecrooks.com/Safety-Center/Scam-Watch/...-Scams-to-Avoid.html

Can you please advise how we can get FB comments working on our K2 items.

Thanks!
Tim

Thanks,
Tim

Tim,
On the page you linked to, I'm seeing the Facebook Comment box at the bottom of the page as well as the Like button beneath it (with 1209 Likes to boot). Looking at the HTML on the page, it's definitely JFBConnect's Comment and Like module that is showing up there.. When you say "old comment module", what module are you talking about?

It's possible it was just a caching issue and is cleared up now, but if you're still seeing issues, let us know and we'll do what we can to help.

Thanks,
Alex

I just noticed that the old comments module is still showing up. Do you know where I would go to disable those?

Thanks

I'm still not seeing it.. it's possible I'm crazy though (or they're only showing to registered or admin users. Either way, we may be able to help. Are you talking about the K2 comments, or something else? If it's the K2 comments, I think the master switch can be found if you go into K2 in the admin area and click the Parameters button in the top right. Buried in the long list of settings, you can disable Comments.

If those aren't the comments your seeing, let me know what the 'old' comments are, and we'll do what we can to help you rid yourself of them :D
