So for the Joomla component jReviews, it requires you to login before posting a review. Well I want to swap the default login with the facebook one. I found the file it's located in for jReviews, but I need to know how to get the facebook login in there. Is it just a PHP string I can plop in there and shazaam it works, or is it going to be a bigger effort?

Once you have JFBConnect installed, all you'll need to add to the jReviews template (or anywhere on your site) is the {JFBCLogin} tag. That should be all there is to it. In the main component, you can configure where the user is redirected after creating an account, including an option to leave them on the same page after automatically logging them in.

There are some other advanced ways to add the Login button, if you want a custom image or different type of link, but the {JFBCLogin} tag makes it super easy.

Hope that helps,
Alex

For some reason {JFBCLogin} just showed up as text. I used this from the other thread to get it to work though. Is that safe to use?

Zen,
That's the really old way, and while it works, it can have issues depending on the page you're using it on. I'm assuming you're using a very old version of JFBConnect, which, if so, we'd highly recommend upgrading as there are many changes within Facebook that the newer versions are compatible with. Depending on what version you're using, some features may work, and others can be flaky, especially regarding comments, as that was completely changed by Facebook earlier this year.

Additionally, support is for subscribers only, so if you run into any other issues, you'll need a subscription for help.

Good luck,
Alex
