Topic-icon Multiple Jomsocial profiles, keeps being reset to default

We have JomSocial 2.2.4 on Joomla 1.5.23 with the latest version of JFBConnect.
We have multiple JomSocial profiles configured. In JFBC we have the option to "Always Import Profile Data" set to No, even though we would like to have it Yes, but not sure if this is the problem or not.
We have Default Profile Type set, and Allow User Selection of Profile Type set to Yes.
Each time the user logs in with Facebook, whatever profile they selected previously gets overwritten with the JFBC's setting.
What are we doing wrong?

It's not you, it's us. Thanks for pointing this out. Under certain configurations, we're resetting the user's profile type back to whatever is selected as the default. We're working on a fix and should have something out in a few hours. Until then, we'd simply recommend disabling the JomSocial profile plugin if you're using multiple profiles.

Apologies for the inconvenience, and we'll definitely post back here when the update is available.

A new zip of the profile plugins was just posted, including the new JomSocial one which should fix the issue you were having.

Please test this and let us know how it goes. Sorry for the troubles, but hopefully this will fix you right up.

Seriously though, that was a sort of nasty one since it had 'bad' behavior for the end user. We really hope it didn't trouble you too much, and appreciate you pointing it out. The multi-profile stuff was just added in the 3.4.0 release, so it's still a bit new to us. We tested registrations a thousand different ways, but obviously missed testing the multi-profile logic during simple logging in.. we'll be updating our automated tests accordingly to avoid this mistake in the future.

Definitely keep us posted if you run into any other issues. Finally, after you've played with JFBConnect for a bit, please consider leaving a rating and review on the JED for the extension and/or our support. It's certainly not required, but helps us out a lot and is very appreciated:
